Halloween

Because it was Sunday we really didn't want to do much for Halloween. However we thought it would be a great way to say hello to our neighbors so we dressed up and went trick-or-treating to a few of the neighbors after church. We caught half of them home and enjoyed visiting with them. We then headed over to my parent's house for dinner and go trick-or-treating on her street.
She feel asleep on the way over to my parents house.
We thought it would be really fun to take Taz so he could complete the Wizard of Oz family. Brielle was excited to take him for a walk.
Erin and Perm joined us while we said hello to my parents neighbors.
Nathan's family came over to say hello too. I had to capture a picture because Nathan looked AMAZING! What a cute idea.
We took Erin and Perm with us and went trick-or-treating to Uncle Norman and Aunt Beth. They weren't home but Douglas and Angie were there. We then went to Uncle Don and Aunt Corrine's and finished the night at Perm's parents house. I loved seeing neighbors and family tonight. It was an added bonus that we were dressed up and got candy for it too!

Fallon Halloween

Halloween is on a Sunday this year but in Fallon they were trick-or-treating on Saturday. I was super excited to take Brielle trick-or-treating door to door. Matt has been practicing with her and I think she is ready and excited.
All the cousins were in Fallon too. It was so much fun hanging out with everyone and seeing their costumes. We captured some cute pictures of the babies in their costumes while they were sleeping.
Addy is just a month old
A few of the cousins carved pumpkins. I love Tiffany's face. She is so focused.
Time had finally arrived and we were ready to collect some candy!
Brookie getting ready
Brielle trick-or-treating at Grandma's house
Before we all dispersed we try to get a picture of everyone dressed up.
Due to the design of Matt's costume he couldn't carry any of the kids. I didn't think it would be a big deal but then Brielle refused to walk. I ended up carrying both kids down the whole street. After we were done with the first street Brielle was ok walking by herself and she walked the rest of the night. I only did a few street with them before it was too cold and I took Miles in. However Matt and Merlin took Brielle and didn't come home for a couple of hours. They said she did great and loved every second of it.
Tyler, Brielle, Miles, Danielle, Zac and Brookie
Matt and Tiffany joined the group
Papa joined up with us. We enjoyed trick-or-treating with him
Brielle was excited to hold Papa's hand and get some candy
Back at the house I hung out with Julie, Addy and Norma. Julie thought she would try to win the favorite Aunt category and give Miles a sucker, I think if he could speak he would have said she won that night.
He wasn't too happy when I took it away, thanks Julie for making me look like the bad guy
He tried to grab some more.
Nothing like holding a newborn and feeding a baby. It's like having twins.
It was pretty late by the time Matt, Brielle and Merlin made to back. We still needed to go to Grandma Miller and Grandma Hoffiman's house. So we hurried out the door cause the kiddos were getting pretty tired.
Hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween!

Lattin Farms

I like to go to Lattin Farms and go to the pumpkin patch there. It's where we have gotten our pumpkins for several years now. The best part is any size pumpkin is $2 and you get a hay ride out of it. This year the prices went up but it was still fun to go.  While we were there they had a really cute photo place set up. So I was able to get some cute pictures of the kids.
Brielle 23 months
Miles 2 months
We did the hayride and pumpkin patch after our little photo session. This is the latest we have ever been and the pumpkins was pretty picked over, but we managed to find a decent pumpkin.
As soon as we arrived to the patch we found a caterpillar. Brielle wasn't too sure about touching it but she did like to look at it. Miles was pretty fascinated too.
I love when she tilts her head to the side.
Look at her face, she was excited.
Matt knows the people on the farm. This was the driver that took us out to the patch, he telling us about the caterpillar.
Miles didn't mind holding it.

I suppose we were at the farm too early because nothing was really set up on the open grass area. By the time we were done with the pumpkin patch, there were some fun things to do. Brielle was excited to go play on the big blow up toy.
We of course had to do the cow ride. Brielle LOVED it. After the first ride she begged to go again. She laughed the whole time.

apple hill

I was so excited to go to Apple Hill this year. However the dynamics of our family are changing and not only is my immediate family growing but so is our extended family. Which means we had to take two separate vehicles. This was a hard adjustment considering it was just my family in the truck. Next year we should switch and we get mom and dad in our car. Anyway, this year was a better trip getting there. I wasn't pregnant and didn't get car sick nor get mad at stupid drivers. I was excited to show Brielle different things at Apple Hill. She did not disappoint me and was excited to see all the things I had to show her. She was right in her element-all the attention on her and all the family around her. I was a little worried about the weather. However it was pretty nice.
This was the perfect photo spot
Not sure what is up with his tongue and drool but I am able to capture both

Not sure how comfortable he was but he was a trooper and allowed me to prop him up between the two pumpkins

Cheese!

One of the things I was really excited to show Brielle was the huge pigs. However they said the weekend prior they had a huge rain storm and it flooded them out. They had to move the animals and they just brought back a few of the animals. The mud pit area where the big pigs normally stay was a little pond.

What a face!

Mom I want this pumpkin
You couldn't tell she didn't like riding this tractor

Every year we run into so many people from the Reno/Sparks area. This year we missed most our “regular” run ins. But we didn’t miss the Mooney family. I love this family!

Brielle was fascinated with this bench. She played on it the whole time we were at this location

Brielle was SO excited to see the train

First thing first, photo op before train ride

We were so excited the train worked this year. Last it we tried and they were working on it but never did get it working while we were there

I haven't been on the train since I was a teenager

Last year Brielle had her first horse ride and she loved it. I was excited to let her ride again. This year she did it all by herself. (sorry a lot of similar pictures displayed below. I couldn't chose)

Miles was still too young but we thought we would let him pet him

Papa, you are SO fun!

We found a new spot last year and Erin really liked it. So before we left we stopped by Abel's apples and took more pictures

I like how miles is crying

Notice Perm's face, he is the only one in school so he knows the feelin...HA!

Brielle's new thing is to grab your face to either get your attention or give you a kiss. In this particular picture she was hitting him.

Peek-a-boo

Look mom! I am walking like a monster!

YUMMY! Fresh apple juice

Dad picked up an apple off the ground and ate it, gross!

Right after I took this picture Matt informed me there was a sign right above my head that said no pictures allowed.

Brielle really wanted to go fishing but dad said, "NO" we sit and watch

Brielle doesn't matter what kind of horse it is as long as she can ride it, she is happy
