rib cook off

Yummy, yummy in our tummy. How we love Rib Cook-off time. The biggest perk is free ribs from our Australian friends. We caught Paul and his brother Andrew in a lull and were able to visit for a little while. We had so much fun catching up and showing off my kiddos. This year they were extremely short handed but there was no way I could have worked this year. It was too big of a weekend...Temple with Taylors Friday night, Tiffany's baptism Saturday night, Miles Blessing and fireside Sunday and Monday was Singers BBQ and family FHE. I felt bad, but they didn't expect me to work. In fact Paul said, "Don't come to work, you have kids now."

We were going to venture out and try other venues but we didn't. We stuck to our discounted and free food. The shrimp is always so good and Saturday was the best ribs I have ever had. The meat just fell right off the rib and melted in your mouth. Our friends couldn't keep up with the demand....they were cooking as fast as they could. Oh so good. Can't wait till next year.

Brielle the first day wasn't too sure but by Saturday she was saying, "MORE RIBS PLEASE!"
