My little girl is changing and growing way too fast. In fact we went to her 6 month doctors appointment on 6/8/09 where she was 26.5inches and 16.8lbs and two weeks later 6/24 she was 27 and 1/4 inches and 17.2lbs. Can we say grow spurt! She is no longer a little baby that cannot help herself. Brielle is now mobile (back scooting and from a sitting position will lunge forward and get onto her knees and then push herself back onto her bottom), grunts to tell us to pay attention to her or she wants more food. Cries when she dislikes what you are doing or is sad that you took something away. She is such a good eater and loves to eat any food, but prefers what we are eating and drinking. She has made her mark by having blow outs and smearing poop both on our carpet and my parents carpet. She is such a water baby. She is a charmer and puts on a show when she wants attention, especially from little boys at church. Enjoys the outdoors. Loves to walk when we hold her up. Has really strong upper body and can open drawers. She will put one arm down and use that to spin herself around in a circle. She is starting to pull herself up onto things (a little, not too sturdy yet). Loves to play with things with her feet. Prefers toys that make noise and sing.
Her new thing is to sit and eat her toes.
Left her for a moment and she found the sock drawer. She opened the drawer and started pulling out socks!
Her favorite way to explore is with her mouth.
She loved the water!
She is starting to enjoy fast motion. Here she is swinging in Matt's arms.
She is a thinker
She loves to walk everywhere. Here she is with her cousin Brookie walking to mom.
Now that she moves around I often find her playing with any rug that is around.
Erin was watching her one day and trying to cook. She came up with a cheap distraction.
This only happen once, but while she was playing she discovered her diaper
We have introduced the jump swing. She really hasn't figured out the jumping but she loves to walk and twirl in it.
She loves this toy. She plays with it every morning and babbles. It's so funny
