Brielle, Matt, Tyler and Merlin enjoying the waterfall at the Nugget
This was Brielle's first time in a floating device. She did really well. Her favorite part was the kiddie size pools that are shallow enough Brielle could touch them. She was able to walk all over and enjoyed every second of it.
She was in the water so much her feet wrinkled.
After the Nugget we went to the annual Don Ross Fourth of July party. We also have good food to eat and lots of shade to hide under. I haven't made it to a party for a couple of years (due to work) so it was nice to hang out for awhile with family.
This year they had a couple kiddie pools set up. We had to get Brielle into her swimming attire again so she could play outside with the cousins.
This was her first kiddie pool. She LOVED the edge of the pool. She climbed on it, sucked it and tried to eat it. I sat her on the edge and had her bounce on it, she was laughing so hard. It was fun to watch her.
We moved to 'the bigger' pool. It was a little deeper and warmer. I don't know if this was a good idea because this pool was also used as a source of water for the water fight.
Homemade ice cream was served so we had to stop playing. Brielle couldn't get enough of it.
Grandpa Hicks cannot get enough of her. Whenever he holds her he forgets to look at the camera (or anything else).
Everyone tends to have a good time at the party. We had to leave early and go over to Paul and Patty's house for a Taylor party. We enjoyed visiting with everyone. Brielle hadn't napped real well but we went to downtown Sparks for the 10th annual Fourth of July firework show. Brielle loved watching the fireworks. She didn't mind the sound and watched majority of the show. I am sad because my camera battery died so I don't have any pictures but take my word, we had a good time.
