Today Brielle had a special request to sit on Daddy's lap for dinner. Despite several attempts to coerce her to sit in her own seat, she won the battle and sat with Matt. It was a good thing he didn't change from work because Brielle made a mess with her ribs and sauce was dripping everywhere. The poor guy was stuck with kid duty, feeding Miles and providing a lap chair for Brielle. He didn't eat until everyone was finished (approximately 45 minutes later). I must say, it was a rather peaceful dinner for me.
