Because Monday was a holiday our friends wanted to hang out and do something. Originally we were going to go sledding and thought it would have been the perfect day. We knew it would be icy because it has been so warm. We gathered everything we needed for sledding and headed up to Mt. Rose. Once we hit the summit it was COLD and WINDY. I couldn't even get Miles out of the truck. The rest of the crew got and play but only lasted about 10 minutes and we decided to do something else.
We headed to NorthStar ski resort. I have never been there before and it was fun to check it out. Its a beautiful resort and the weather was AMAZING. I was 65 degrees....unheard of for January. We soaked up the sunshine and let the kids run and play. It was fun hanging out with the Ballinghams and getting to know them better.
