Goodbye Grandma Knight; Hello cousins

This weekends was Florence Knight's funeral. She was 94 years old. The crazy thing about funerals is you could know someone for so long and know very little about their life. For instance, I had no idea she was engaged when she married her husband or the fact that she had a masters in education. The other crazy and fun thing about funeral is how it pulls family and friends together. All of my Aunt Nan's kids and their families were able to make it to the funeral. I don't remember the last time everyone was together. Therefore it was a very busy weekend with funeral stuff and cathcing up with cousins. It's fun to rekindle friendships and build memories with loved ones.

Tara helped me all weekend picking out material and making hair bows for Brielle. I have been dying to know how to make them, and they really are not as hard as they look. However I am far from perfect and have a lot of practicing to do.

Brian and Crystal came into town for the funeral too. My mom had some of Nan's family so they stayed with us. It was fun having them in our home. In times past when they have come up I haven't been able to hang out with them very much. This time it was easier to hang out since they were staying with us. We had fun talking and playing with Brielle. He took some nice pictures of Brielle Sunday morning as she was playing on the floor.
